Arkansas State Fair Preview

Fall is approaching, which means it’s time to get up and get out to the 83rd annual Arkansas State Fair! Whether it’s the delicious food, live entertainment, or thrilling rides, the Arkansas State Fair has something for everyone. This Year’s Activities

Live Music

Like previous events, this year has a star-packed lineup. General admission is $8 if you pay in advance, and $12 the day of the show. Concert deck seating is $20. Some bigger names headlining this year are:

Pageants

The Arkansas State Fair is host to several pageants, including Rising Stars, the youth pageant/talent, the junior/senior talent, junior queen/fair queen, and more. Whether you’re participating, or just want to sit in on the fun, the Arkansas State Fair pageants are always a good time.

Free Attractions

Everything at the fair doesn’t come with a price tag. There are numerous fun activities complete free of charge, including a dino scroll, a “moogician,” and more. 

Food

All the delectable delights one can expect from any fair will be available—plus some Arkansas-only treats. From foot long corn dogs, bacon wrapped jalapeños, funnel cakes, pizza on a stick, and much more, there’s something for everyone. The state fair provides a full list of food vendors, so you can plan your meals ahead of time.

The Midway

Rides and games galore can be found at The Legends Resort & Casino Midway. Classics like the Eli Ferris Wheel, Jumbo Spin, and Mega Drop return for another fun year. Keep an eye out for a new experience or two as well…
