Arkansans can explore several types, including established operations to get locally grown flowers and plants as well as smaller farms featuring U-Pick fields. Get outside this spring, support local Arkansas flower growers, and harvest a little color for your home.

Northwest Arkansas

Mount Olive Flowers

Mount Olive Flowers is a small, U-Pick farm in Gravette, Arkansas. They are focused on regenerative farming and specialize in cut flower production. Many farms in Arkansas are using these environmentally friendly practices to restore degraded soil, producing healthier plants.

Customers can journey through the farm to harvest and fill a bucket with beautiful, fresh flowers. Buckets and shears are provided. In addition to the U-pick flower field, Mount Olive has a farm stand, full of homegrown veggies, fruits, herbs, and eggs along with local artisan curated goods.

Sacred Hollow Farm

Located in Lowell, Arkansas, Sacred Hollow Farm is another farm where customers can explore flower fields to select their own flowers.

The owners are holistic health practitioners and understand the importance of finding a place where customers can be present, in the moment, and surrounded by beauty.

The owners of Sacred Hollow Farm endeavor to “…offer a beautiful place where you can play and cut your own colorful wildflower bouquets while tending to that inner child who is yearning to frolic.”

From coneflowers to sunflowers, customers have hundreds of wildflowers to choose from.

Pigeon Family Farms

Pigeon Family Farms is a local family-owned nursery that is a just a five minute drive from downtown Siloam Springs, Arkansas. They grow everything they sell from seeds and rooted plugs, ensuring the best quality plants. Visit their greenhouse to get your flowers and all the supplies you’ll need for planting.

Wye Mountain Farm

Wye Mountain Farm offers U-Pick blueberries and blackberries and has a self-serve farm stand with a variety of specialty flowers including roses, lilies, sunflowers, hydrangeas, zinnias, and much more. They also visit local farmers markets and stock flowers at specialty stores.

Whitton Farms

Whitton Farms is a specialty flower grower in the Arkansas delta. They offer farm tours, floral workshops, and farm dinners. They sell their flowers at farmers markets and through a CSA program.

Floral varieties include tulips, zinnias, sunflowers, hydrangeas, celosia, camellias, lisianthus, tuberoses, bachelor buttons, peonies, roses, delphinium, and much more.
